Living here in Coastal Alabama, the first thing that people notice about me is my British accent. I know, because they tell me all the time. Although I’ve been living in the US since 2006, my British roots are still strong and it’s gonna take a lot of work to perfect my sweet Southern drawl … maybe it’s just not meant to be!
I have been living a wild adventure with God since leaving my life in England and attending a School of Ministry in Toronto, Canada, knowing that God was leading my husband, Jonathan, & I in a new direction.
Our next stop after Toronto was Oklahoma where we trained and served with Harvest Church Broken Arrow for 10 years before packing up and moving again to help to plant a new church on the Gulf Coast.
While making my home in the US, my heart to minister the Gospel to the nations has taken me to the ends of the earth, in Southern Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Mexico, and to diverse places such as The Philippines, Morocco, Croatia and Macedonia. Together with Jonathan I have led youth retreats, leaders schools, ladies ministry and my real passion is to disciple younger believers and help them to grow in their relationship with God. This is the reason why I wrote my first devotional book, ‘Solid Ground’.
Life has not lent itself to us traveling to different nations in the past few years but that has just meant that we have been able to shine our light in our adopted community. I have been working in the non-profit world since 2020, where I am able to make a difference in the lives of those affected by domestic violence, sexual assault or child abuse.
I have been married to Jonathan for over 20 years and we currently live in Foley, Alabama with Luna the yellow Labrador who completes our pack and features regularly in my writing.
To find out more about me, you’ll have to read my book!
